The aim is to show the essence of a subject, place or event - hopefully replaying the evocative image seen at the time.

Third place in a category of the 2019 International Garden Photographer of the Year Competition.
Awarded "
Highly Commended" in 2018.

Shortlisted for Outdoor Photographer of the Year 2018

First prize in the 2015 RAC Photographic competition 

Second prize in 2020 South Downs National Park competition

Shortlisted for WWT 2018 photography competition

In 2018 awarded Licentiate distinction from the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS)

Some photographs of fish conservation activity are being used in lectures by a leading ecologists

Images taken in Kew Gardens have been used in lectures by the Head of the Arboretum, Gardens and Horticultural Services at Kew.

 A few images are available through stock library Alamy, but most are for sale direct so please use the contact details below if you are interested in any of the images shown here or you would like to have an initial discussion about a commission.
Perhaps a favourite location with vivid memories you wish to capture and put on your wall, a special occasion to remember or you have a keen interest in a subject and want to have an image to hand? An informal portrait? Just ask!
For example, the photo of the Camel estuary at low tide now sits on the wall of the owner's holiday cottage in Padstow, and currently undertaking a commission to photograph a fishery across the seasons.
